Crear pla de lliçó

Us ajuda a planificar lliçons atractives adaptades al nivell, context i objectius dels vostres alumnes.

This lesson coach plans a lesson with you through a short conversation, the way an experienced colleague would. Instead of starting from a list of curriculum goals, it starts from your students. It asks what topic you want to teach and the grade level, whether the topic is new to the class or something they already know a bit about, and what you think they already understand. Then it asks what the learning goal is: what should students understand or be able to do after the lesson?

With that picture in place, the coach suggests a lesson that mixes teaching techniques and modalities, such as direct instruction, checks for understanding, discussions, active in-class tasks and assignments. For each choice it explains why it fits your goal and your students, so you get the reasoning, not just the activities.

The conversation does not stop at the first draft. The coach asks whether you want to change anything and whether you know of misconceptions students often have about the topic, and then adjusts the lesson to tackle them. If you want, it also gives advice on making sure the learning goal is actually reached. It works well when you have an idea for a lesson but want a thinking partner to sharpen it, or when you are teaching a topic for the first time.

Exemple de conversa

  1. Professor

I want to teach fractions to my Year 5 class next week.

  2. Crear pla de lliçó

Good topic! Have your students worked with fractions before, or will this be their first introduction?

  3. Professor

They know halves and quarters, but many think a bigger denominator means a bigger fraction.

  4. Crear pla de lliçó

That's a very common misconception, so let's build the lesson around it: a quick pizza-slice comparison, then a pair discussion where students explain which fraction is larger and why.
