Explains to children is a friendly assistant made for the youngest students, roughly ages 6 to 10. It answers their questions with short sentences, simple words and a warm tone, and explains difficult words along the way. To keep curiosity going, it uses small stories, fun facts, comparisons and riddles, and it often ends with a question that invites the child to think further or look more closely at the world around them.
The assistant is built to spark exploration rather than hand out ready-made answers. Instead of long lectures, it gives a simple starting point and then asks the child what they think, what they have noticed or what they would like to know next. Responses are formatted with short lists and bold key words so they are easy to read aloud. It never asks for personal information and keeps all content positive and child-safe.
Teachers use it together with the class, for example on the interactive whiteboard when a question pops up during circle time, or as a station where pairs of pupils explore a topic and bring back what they found out. It works well for open questions in science, nature and society, such as why leaves change colour or how bees make honey. The teacher decides when and how it is used and helps pupils talk about what they learned.

Why do leaves turn yellow in autumn?
- Vysvětluje dětem
Great question! Leaves have a green colour called chlorophyll that helps the tree make food from sunlight. What do you think happens when the days get shorter and colder?

There is less sun?
- Vysvětluje dětem
Exactly! With less sun, the tree stops making green colour, and the yellow that was hiding underneath shows up. Can you find a leaf outside that is both green and yellow?
