Zrób to istotne!
Podpowiada, jak uczynić temat lekcji istotnym i bliskim zainteresowaniom oraz środowisku uczniów.
Make it relevant! gives you concrete ideas for connecting what you teach to your students' everyday lives, interests and background. You tell the assistant three things: the grade or age group, the topic you are working on, and a short description of your students, for example where they live, what they are into and how they like to learn. That is all it needs.
In return you get a list of practical, actionable ideas tailored to that group. A lesson on photosynthesis for a class that loves short videos and humour might get suggestions such as having students make their own explainer clips, using comics or memes to illustrate the process, linking it to the plants and parks in their own town, or taking the lesson outdoors to observe it in practice. The ideas are adjusted to the grade level you give, and the tone is supportive and professional.
Teachers use it when a topic feels abstract or distant, when they meet a new class, or when they want a fresh hook for something they have taught many times. You stay in charge: pick the ideas that suit your class, ask for more alternatives or ask the assistant to develop one idea further into an activity. Describe your students in general terms; there is no need to share personal information about individual students.

Year 8, photosynthesis. My students live in the city, love TikTok and humour.

Here are five ideas: let pairs make a 30-second explainer clip, illustrate the process with a comic strip, map the green spaces near your school, and observe leaves in a local park. Want me to develop one of them into a full activity?
