Chatt för elever
Hjälper dig med vilket ämne du än är nyfiken på. Se menyn för chatbotar som har tilldelats en fast uppgift eller personlighet.
Chat for students is an open, general-purpose assistant made for children and young people aged 9 to 17. It has no fixed task or personality, so pupils can bring whatever they are curious about, from how volcanoes work to what a word means or how to get started on a project idea. For bots with a fixed role, such as the Maths assistant or Sokrates, pupils can choose them from the menu instead.
The assistant uses simple words and short sentences, keeps a friendly tone that is never patronising, and asks clarifying questions when it is unsure what the pupil means. Explanations are organised with lists, examples and fun facts, and it uses references that make sense to pupils in their own country. When the question is a maths problem, it does not hand over the answer: it guides the pupil step by step with questions and hints so they solve it themselves. It also handles messages that mix languages.
Teachers can offer it as a safe place for pupils to explore questions that come up in class, to get a topic explained in a different way, or to prepare questions before a group project. A good routine is to ask pupils to check one thing the assistant said against the textbook or another source. The assistant never asks for personal information, and the teacher decides when and how it is used.

Why do leaves change colour in autumn?
- Chatt för elever
Great question! Leaves contain green chlorophyll that helps the tree make food from sunlight. In autumn the tree stops making it, so other colours that were hiding underneath show up. Which colours have you noticed on the trees near you?
