This privacy policy applies when you are in contact with us, use the SchoolHub.ai service, wish to establish a customer relationship, or where we conduct ongoing activities such as marketing and sending out newsletters for which we are responsible for processing your personal data.

Cookies and Statistics
If you only use the website for informational purposes and do not register or otherwise transmit information to us, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data that is technically necessary for us to be able to display our website to you and ensure stability and security based on legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

We store statistics on the use of the service under the basis described above. For the use of the service, we store:

To ensure the stability of the service and to prevent misuse, we store the information related to the personal data mentioned under “Visits to our websites”.
By using the service, we will process the text and information submitted, but will not store the contents of the messages after use has ended.
The basis for processing is based on consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Newsletter and email
We request specific and voluntary consent to subscribe to our newsletter. The basis for processing is based on consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
When you subscribe to the newsletter, we store and process the following personal information:
- Name
- IP address
Consent can be withdrawn and the subscription can be canceled at any time. This can be done using a link included in all newsletters or by contacting us at contact@schoolhub.ai.
In order to communicate with and assist those who contact us via email, we must also process the personal information shared with us. The basis for this processing is founded on legitimate interests according to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Upon logging in, different information is stored and processed depending on the login service used.

Sharing personal information with others
To provide our services, we use reputable service providers with whom we enter into data processing agreements to comply with GDPR legislation. We only share information that is necessary to deliver the service and we strive to minimize the amount of personal data shared.

Text Tools
We do not send any information to Microsoft Azure OpenAI, including the IP addresses of our users that can link the text back to the individual user, beyond what the user explicitly writes in the text sent to us. We use servers at Microsoft that run in the EU. The text is sent for processing via Hetzner where our dedicated servers operate, but it is not stored there after the service use has ended.
Speech tool
All audio is sent directly from the browser to Microsoft Azure and does not pass through our servers. At Microsoft, the audio is not stored; it is securely and encryptedly processed in "memory" for a short period. After the audio has been processed, it will not be available to us or Microsoft.
Your rights
You can request the deletion or correction of all personal information we have about you at any time, except for information we are required or obligated to retain in accordance with applicable regulations. You can also request access to the information that is stored.
Your rights under the GDPR are:
