Coming soon: local chat history in your browser

Over the coming days we are releasing local chat history in SchoolHub.ai. Your recent conversations are saved on your device for up to 30 days so you can pick up a thread later without starting from scratch.

Privacy first

The local copy is not transmitted to us and is not stored on our servers or by our sub-processors. Because we never receive this data, we cannot access, export, or provide a copy of it. If you want to remove it, you do so on your device.

How it works

The history is stored in your browser's local storage. It is tied to the browser profile in use. If another user signs in using the same browser profile, the previous local history is erased.

Shared devices

To ensure privacy in shared devices, use your own browser profile and sign out when you are done. If you do not want a copy to remain after a session, use a private or incognito window.

For schools and municipalities

This feature does not change our processing of personal data or our list of sub-processors. If you maintain internal records, you can note that the product can keep a device-local copy of recent chats for up to 30 days that never leaves the user’s device. Administrators can manage or clear local storage with standard browser policies.

How to delete local history

Use the in-app “Delete history” option or clear site data in your browser settings.
