GDPR

In compliance with GDPR and only collects data that is critical for the service to function. Contact us if you require a data processing agreement.

Data is stored in the EU

All data is processed and stored in Europe. This ensures that information is handled in accordance with European regulations and public requirements for data storage.

AI model and data processing

The platform is built on ChatGPT and Gemini delivered from EU-based cloud solutions. All processing occurs in accordance with European requirements for privacy and data security.

Usage guidelines

The school determines how AI should be used in teaching. We recommend that personal data and sensitive information are not shared.

Privacy and security

Minimal and secure data storage

We store as little data as possible. Only what is critical to deliver a stable and secure service is stored – and never longer than necessary.

Built-in filters

All prompts and responses are automatically checked and filtered to protect privacy and ensure that all use is respectful and appropriate in a school context.

Privacy policy

In our privacy policy, you will find clear information about what is processed, why, and how.

In summary:

We use language models from ChatGPT via Microsoft Azure OpenAI, which process the submitted text on their servers in Europe.
Chat history is stored locally for 30 days. This data is not stored on our servers and is only accessible from your device. If another user logs in using the same browser, the previous history will be deleted.
A user can potentially include personal information as part of the text when using the service. We do not store the text on our servers after use, but it is sent to Microsoft Azure OpenAI in Sweden.
Microsoft Azure OpenAI and Google Gemini retain text for up to 30 days to prevent misuse of the service. These texts are not used for further training of the algorithm, and OpenAI does not have access to them.
If you use speech-to-text, the audio is never sent to our servers, only directly to Microsoft in Sweden. They never store the audio and only process it encrypted in 'memory' while the audio is being processed. It is deleted immediately after the text is generated.

Access and control

Teachers and school administrators have full control over how Schoolhub.ai is used by students.

Login and access management

We support national solutions for identity and access management, such as Feide, so that both teachers and students can access the platform in a simple and secure way.

Administrator controls

Easy management of which tools and AI features are available for different grade levels, groups, or classes. Features can easily be turned on and off as needed..
